Many thanks to Ann Ashtray of the infamous Sonic Youth Gossip Forum for the link to this. In the year 1970, a music fest was held in Georgia called the Atlanta Pop Festival. This was the second and final year for the fest, and it featured many bad-ass artists, from Jimi, to the Allman Bros., to BB King to Grand Funk railroad, and Captain Beefheart.
