-FUPPETS- Attracts the Good Shit

One of the great things about -FUPPETS- and the intermetanetwebs in general, is that it can act as a magnet, attracting like-minded things to itself, coalescing the amorphous miasma of human thought into points which lead to other points, which attract yet other points. This amazing quality is much appreciated by -FUPPETS- , especially when the people provide -FUPPETS- with new sources for aural and literary pleasure.

One of the ectoplasmic tentacles to probe -FUPPETS- spoke of a band called TUBBYBOOTS. Their home-site has a music player at the bottom of the page which allows one to sample their sonic output, and to discern it's bad-assery for oneself. -FUPPETS- recommends the song Green Couch. These cats are young and raw but it is a very promising racket they conjure up.

Sometimes the metanet provides a fabulous resource for finding other music and like-minded people. -FUPPETS- was very glad to see the music blog, I HEART NOISE, and to see that it is chock full of all the most delicious nuggets of skronk.

They claim themselves an "illustrated encyclopedia of audio terrorism," and from what has been read, they do not lie. Everything from band's songs, to interviews with underground musicians, to reviews of releases, to upcoming gig dates, to ranting polemics, it is all here for you. Enjoy.

In today's modern age there are several types of music impresario to be found on the world wide interwebs. Above, -FUPPETS- has listed a band and a blog, but this here is a music label. RAISING REAL RECORDS (it's not a label, it's a state of mind) is exactly the kind of place that a young and weird act can wave their dick around and make some noise. Not only are albums available, but interviews with various artists, as well as just a plain good time to be had perusing their catalog.

On the right side of their homepage is a music streaming player. -FUPPETS- recommends the Recs Of The Flesh track Social Failure.

One final thing to do, and that is to point you to an electronically ambient skritch-fest from Australia. The musical group is titled AMUTM, (formerly Mesh Gear Fox) and their music is either a soundtrack to a serial killer's internal monologues, the unfiltered dream-noise from a particularly vivid yet mellow nightmare, or the aural equivalent of an LSD "come-down." -FUPPETS- suggests you taste the track titled Sub Port, for a taste.

The present is as weird and magnificent as we imagined the future to be. For this -FUPPETS- is very glad.
