Ahhhh, SEAM. One of the most unheralded and magnificent bands to come out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Fronted through the band's existence by SooYoung Park, Seam released several albums and tons of singles. 15 years ago, their mix of softly sung vocals and gauzy yet riff-laden music did not catch on due to the preponderance of Nirvana wanna-be's trying to do "big dumb" riffs and screaming. Do not get the wrong impression though. Seam rocked just as hard or harder than any of those clones.
